The “paintings” are photographs that have been manipulated by digital image processing with the aim to show the “game character”, not the disguised player.
This page replaces the gallery that in 4 years never really functioned. That´s why you can´t any more click from picture to picture, but the images can now via context menue (rightclick) be viewed full- screen.  That way the structures that turn a photograph into a “painting” become visible- and who in turn are the reason why “painting”-prints like these should be large- sized.
